Tas’t Livigno Native Food brings all the authenticity of local products to hotel breakfasts.

 

Hotel Margherita proudly announces its participation in a special initiative, something to enhance Livigno’s traditions through its food.

Tas’t - Livigno native food is a unique experience for everyone. The hotels involved will do their best to bring the true soul of Livigno into their breakfasts, genuine products made with local raw materials. Treating our guests with a tasty breakfast has always been a prerogative for us. Now we are ready to add many other treats, such as cheese and yogurt made by local producers, cold cuts and much more.

Tasting the products of a place gives you the possibility to know it deeply as well as the traditions of your host. The term Native food has been chosen precisely because it recalls the food traditions of a place. Tas't Livigno is a project that makes it available to all of you. Unforgettable flavours and smells bring back memories, such as freshly made yogurt and hot milk.

The Tas't-Livigno project is an idea by several associations, such as Associazione Cuochi e Pasticceri di Livigno, Associazione Turismo e Commercio, local hoteliers and producers. The purpose is to raise awareness of local products and enhance them.

Some of the treats available at the hotel breakfasts are typical desserts (such as Torta Rosina, Torta dell’Indomenia and Bisc'ot da Livign), typical cold cuts such as Salam de Baita and Panceta Brasc’carola; goat and mountain cheeses and Poina ricotta. All is matched with a lot of tasty fresh bread, such as Pan da col and Pan da carcent. As for accommodations with apartments, the typical products will be available as snacks.

Tas’t Livigno was born from the desire to carry on the traditions and tastes of our childhood and offer them to all those who visit our hotels.
